Conditions governing access to and use of the material design training services offered by Materialbydesign.

  1. Purpose and Scope

    This document establishes the general terms and conditions (hereinafter, "Terms") that regulate access, navigation, and contracting of courses, workshops, and training resources on material design offered through the website materialbydesign.com (hereinafter, the "Service").

    Acceptance of these Terms is an essential requirement for using the Service. Any person who accesses or registers on the portal acquires the status of "User" and agrees to comply with the provisions herein.

  2. Description of the Service

    Materialbydesign makes available to Users online and in-person training programs focused on innovation in materials, design methodologies, and practical application in sectors such as automotive, construction, packaging, and consumer electronics.

    The courses are structured into theoretical-practical modules that include:

    • Video lessons and downloadable material.
    • Industrial application exercises.
    • Discussion forums moderated by experts.
    • Periodic assessments to measure learning progress.

    The content is updated periodically to reflect industry advances, without this implying a commitment to immediate review.

  3. Access and Registration Conditions

    To access the courses, it is necessary to register by providing truthful and complete data. The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials and for all activities carried out under their account.

    Materialbydesign reserves the right to suspend or cancel the access of any User who breaches these Terms or provides false or misleading information.

  4. Intellectual Property and Copyright

    All educational material, including texts, images, graphics, videos, presentations, and software, is the property of Materialbydesign or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

    The User acquires a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license for personal and non-commercial use of the course content. The following are expressly prohibited:

    • Reproducing, distributing, or publicly communicating the material without written authorization.
    • Modifying, decompiling, or creating derivative works from the content.
    • Using the material for commercial purposes other than one's own learning.
  5. Liability of the Parties

    Materialbydesign is committed to offering a quality service, but does not guarantee that the learning obtained through the courses will lead to specific professional results, such as obtaining employment or an immediate increase in income. Training is a development tool, not a promise of success.

    The User assumes responsibility for applying the knowledge acquired in accordance with the applicable regulations in their sector and country. Materialbydesign is not liable for damages or losses arising from the misuse of the information provided.

    Under no circumstances shall the aggregate liability of Materialbydesign for any claim related to the Service exceed the total amount paid by the User in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

  6. Payment and Refund Policy

    The prices of the courses are clearly indicated on the contracting page and include applicable taxes. Payment is made by credit card, debit card, or other methods enabled on the platform.

    The User has a period of 14 calendar days from the purchase date to request a refund, provided they have not accessed more than 20% of the course content. After this period or upon exceeding the indicated percentage, no refunds will be made.

    Refund requests must be sent to info@materialbydesign.com and include the order number and the reason for the request.

  7. Modification of Terms

    Materialbydesign reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to Users via a notice on the website or by email at least 15 days before they come into effect.

    If the User does not agree with the modifications, they may cancel their account and request termination of the service without any penalty during the notice period.

  8. Duration and Termination

    The contractual relationship lasts for the duration of the contracted course. Access to the materials will remain available for a minimum period of 12 months from the course end date, unless otherwise stated in the specific conditions of the program.

    Materialbydesign may terminate the relationship immediately if the User seriously breaches these Terms, especially regarding intellectual property or fraudulent use of the platform.
